This is a physiological term, that refers to moving further away from the midline of the body, limb or any other paralell body part. 

BALANCE
A term that refers to an equal relationship between all the body proportions in a man's physique. This perfect composition of phsyical proporations is a much wanted asset in all professional body builders.

OLYMPIAN
This is a specific term used only for those bodybuilders who have participated in the Mr. Olympia and Ms. Olympia competitions. 

POLYUNSATURATED FATS
Fats that do not have an effect in cholesterol levels. Most of the fats in vegetable oils, such as corn, cottonseed, safflower, soybean, and sunflower oil are polyunsaturated.

CAP
The deltoid muscle of the shoulder that can be separated into the front, middle and rear ends for training purposes. 

DEFINITION

The absence of fat present over clear muscle movements is known as definition. However, this term concentrates mosltly on muscularity and someone who is a highly trained body builder will adjust to having little body fat that thin strands will be seen over every muscle and this is know as definitionmore specifically.

QUALITY TRAINING
A type of workout used just prior to a competition in which the lengths of rest intervals between sets are progressively reduced to increase overall training intensity and help further define the physique.

REST INTERVAL
The amount of time that a person rests in between sets. For instance, a rest interval of 60 seconds means that after you finish your first set, you will remain idle for 60 seconds before going on to the next set.

ECCENTRIC CONTRACTION
This refers to the muscle action that helps in lengthening the fibres, while the tension develops. 

FAT SOLUBLE VITAMINS
Some vitamins are not supposed to be taken in excess otherwise there is a possibility of them turning toxic within the body. These vitamins are A, D, E and K.

SIX PACK
A term probably everyone is aware of. Muscles of the abdomen that are highly well-developed and worked upon. They are so prominent that the well-defined muscles are visible beneath the skin and around the stomach. Another word used for this is washboards. 

TRANSIENT HYPERTROPHY
The temporary increase in size or enlargement od msucles because of water retention. This isn't a permanent condition.

This is the smaller version of the gluteas maximus, the muscles which formulate the human buttocks.

HACK SQUAT
This is a particular form of leg exercise that tones and exerts pressure on the lowers legs and thighs as well.

UNILATERAL TRAINING
This term refers to focusing on one particular side of the body while training, and laying less pressure on the other one for the time being. 

VASCULAR
The visible viens on the body, which are because of excessive exercise and low levels of body fat (along with high blood levels).

INSULIN
This is a particular hormone excreted by the pancreas and aids in the speeding up the metabolism of carbohydrates. The primary function of insulin is to decide whether the carbohydrates are to be utilized for energy purposes, storage within the muscular cells (glycogen), or for storing the carbohydrates in the form of fats (in case of an excess).

JUICE
This is usually an informal term used to refer to the consumption of anabolic steroids. For instance, if someone is taking them, it is said that they are on the juice (i.e. anabolic steroids).

WARM-UP
A short session that takes place before the actual exercise or routine to prepare the body for the upcoming physical tension. This could include light aerobic exercise and ever stretching for a duration to 5 to 15 minutes normally. Making a good warm up a regular practice ensures that the exercise gies maximum benefit and helps to avoid injuries as well.

LACTIC ACID
This acid is a side product, which is the result of a deterence in the oxygen flow to functioning muscles. This acid is created due to certain exercises that include anaerobic activities, especially weight training exercises. A presence of lactic acid in the blood could lead to an increase in hormone levles, as revealed by research.
